Leadership
Leadership is the ability of a person or group to influence and
impose any decision or opinion on persuasion, and the goal is to achieve
desired interests.
Leadership sources:
• The leader's authority
and ability to establish punishment and reward.
• The official leader
status and legal force.
The leader's skill, which is the skill of distinction.
• The leader's commitment
to impartial qualities to positively influence others.
• Sharing his opinion and
support to his subordinates.
Types of leadership:
Free leadership: It is the leadership of non-interference or
consecutive leadership and is also known as concessional leadership.
The leader gives orders and news with the desired goal and leaves
the workers to do whatever they want with or without cooperation, with or
without work.
• The predominant aspect
of this type of leadership is instructions, neglecting activity, wasting
valuable time and conflicting actions.
Free leadership is one of the worst types of management, it leads
to inconsistency, , and any failure caused by it.
Situational leadership: is the time when the leader must adjust his
style to suit subordinates, and change his style, not the style of his
subordinates, to meet the needs of others.
A leader who fits in one situation does not fit in another.
And the ability to be
flexible and adaptive to changing plans and strategies.
The leader must have the
flexibility to move easily and smoothly, self-confidence and the ability of
workers to solve problems that they may encounter at any time with effective
tools and methods, management and the ability to evaluate.
Democratic leadership:
It is the acceptance of the leader who belongs to his authority and
not the authority responsible for it, and the judge must work to develop
himself and his human relationship and satisfy the needs of others and
recognize the importance of the role of his employees and their participation
in discussions and search for appropriate
solutions and belief in the ability of the soul and subordinates,
and encourage workers .
A leader in a democratic leadership must easily persuade, work with
facts, familiarize themselves with the ability of his followers, their
information, and their ideas, and take them into consideration and take care of
their feelings.
Autocratic leadership:
It is taking the leader with the powers granted to him according to
laws, regulations, and unilateral decisionmaking, and any action is carried out
only through approval of the leader and that after the development of plans and
policies without the participation of anyone because of his lack of confidence
in others and their decisions or for his self-dictatorship.
Autocratic leadership is known as military, authoritarian, or
dictatorial .
autocratic leader does not care about the problems of workers and
that the achievement is very good in his presence only.
Dictatorial leadership three types: a hard-line, tough-minded leader, who sticks to law enforcement
and a good dictator.
What is the best leadership type?
Situational leadership.
Transactional leadership : is when leader promote compliance by followers through rewards and
punishment.

thinking and has resistant to change .
Why transactional leadership is used?
For material rewards such as
compensation , job society or promotion , or intangible rewards
such as recognition and praise.
Transactional leadership
leads to negative implications like suspension and termination.
